Still Point of the Turning World – T.S Elliot
In response to the fast pace of the 21st century this series of paintings evolved as a counterbalance. The works offer a place to settle and immerse oneself within the elemental beauty of sky, clouds, land and water.
My hope is to invite the viewer to step into a moment of stillness. With the possibility to then reflect on the primal power of nature as well as one’s temporal passage in time.
My wish is to communicate through my paintings the immutable and ever present beauty that I feel exists within the natural world, and therefore within us, as we are a reflection and an intrinsic part of nature.
