Mark Chapman has been director of Eastgate Gallery since 2015.

Mark is a well known and respected figure in Melbourne art circles.  As the founder of Chapman & Bailey, he has over twenty years of experience in many and diverse aspects of the fine arts industry.

Mark has a particular passion for Australian indigenous art.

Eastgate Gallery is managed by Daina Tender, previously of Chapman & Bailey.

Mark and Daina, and their staff are happy to help you with all your fine art requirements, from sourcing artworks, to collections advice, framing, restorations, transport, delivery, and installation of artworks.

Eastgate Gallery is proud to exhibit a broad range of Australian artists, from early twentieth century, and Australian modernists, through to contemporary, on a changing annual program.

The gallery also maintains an extensive on-site stockroom, and Mark and Daina are happy to help you select the perfect artwork for your needs by appointment.

Eastgate Gallery was established in 1988, in conjuction with Jarman Gallery, Melbourne. From 1992 to 2015 Eastgate Gallery traded as Eastgate & Holst Dealers in Fine Art.
